BidVoice is built around Eden, an AI assistant. We believe you should know exactly where AI is involved, what it does, and what stays in your hands. This page explains it plainly.
What Eden is
Eden is an AI assistant that helps you capture a job, draft an estimate, structure a proposal, translate messages, and keep projects moving. Eden is software — not a person, not a licensed professional, and not a guarantee.
You are always in control
Nothing Eden produces goes to a customer on its own. Every estimate, price, proposal, message, and offer is a draft you review, edit, and approve before it is sent or relied upon. Eden prepares the work; you make the call.
AI prices are starting points
Eden’s prices, quantities, and unit assumptions are placeholders generated to get you moving — not quotes and not professional estimates. You set and stand behind the real numbers. Eden learns your price book over time so its drafts get closer to how you actually charge, but the responsibility for the figures is always yours.
What data AI processes
To generate your results, relevant parts of the content you give Eden (what you say or type about a job, photos you add, and the details of your estimates) are processed by AI systems, including trusted third-party model providers, solely to produce your output. Your business data is scoped to your account and is not shared with other contractors.
We don’t train on your private business data
We do not use your private business data to advertise to you, and we do not sell it. Our providers process your content only to perform the Service for you. As AI providers and terms evolve, we will keep this page current.
Accuracy and mistakes
AI can be wrong or incomplete — it may miss a line item, mis-price a task, or misread a photo. Treat Eden as a fast, tireless assistant whose work you check, not as a source of truth. Bid Insurance and review steps help catch gaps, but the final review is yours.
Voice and transcription
If you use voice, your speech is transcribed to text so Eden can turn it into a bid. Voice capture can work offline and sync later. You can always type instead.
Turning AI off
The app is built to run without AI: you can create and manage bids by hand if you never turn Eden on, or if the AI step is temporarily unavailable. AI features unlock on a paid plan; the core business tools do not require them.
